Meet Our Artistic Team

Sammi Hildebrandt
Sammi started working for Bay Area e.T.c.’s Summer Camp in 2007. She joined the company when she was only 9 years old as a camper and when she got too old to be in camp, they hired her to work it and she never left. She has choreographed countless summer camp productions, and in 2016 made her directorial debut with the company with Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary and musical theatre style dance. Sammi is also very much involved in the Bay Area theatre community as a performer. Recently you may have seen her in 1776 (SBMT) as Martha Jefferson or singing and dancing in the ensemble of The Producers (Broadway by the Bay).

Louis Lagalante
Louis Lagalante is a composer and music director currently based in San Carlos. James and the Giant Peach was his 5th show music directing for e.T.c.; he also music directed Tarzan and The Little Mermaid. Other credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Pacifica Spindrift Players), The Addams Family, and the original concert/cabaret Outliers (New York Musical Festival). Music from his first original musical, Mirror Image, was featured in concert at the New York Musical Festival in 2015, and his new musical Infinite was featured in the Musical Cafe Showcase in June, 2018.

Ria Lodick
Ria has been directing and performing steadily around the Bay Area for the past 7 years and is now on her 12th e.T.c. show. Her recent on stage shows with various companies include: Rock of Ages (Constance), Chicago (Liz), A Little Night Music (Charlotte), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona), How to Succeed in Business… (Hedy), Seussical (Gertrude u/s), Shrek (Fiona) Oliver! (Widow Corney), Honk (Ida), Curtains, The Producers, 9 to 5, Mame, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Behind the scenes, Ria has directed the e.T.c. productions of Annie, Narnia and The Wiz, and stage managed The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. She was also the director for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Out of This World, The Pirates of Penzance and Godspell with Pacifica Spindrift Players and Once Upon A Mattress with Spindrift School of the Arts. Ria has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education, a Master of Education in Instructional Design, and recently earned her Vocal Performance Gradu-ate Certificate with an emphasis in Musical Theatre at NDNU. She loves the challenge and the art of passing information on to young minds in ways that inspire them to explore their own creativity and passions.
